Teaching change of direction in the outfield. I personally prefer to turn in, as it allows me to keep my eyes on the ball at all times. Turning out/head swivel doesn’t feel as comfortable to me. Rarely do I see athletes misjudge a ball so bad they open up one way and then have to run a far distance the other way to catch the ball. However, I’m all for athletes doing what feels most comfortable for them as long as they catch the ball. Practice both ways so you’re ready for anything your way! #sof
