Karratha's new weather radar is now live with radar images available on the Bureau of Meteorology's website and the BOM Weather app. The new radar was built to replace a temporary radar in nearby Dampier, which was put in place to replace the previous Dampier radar after it was severely damaged by Cyclone Damien in February 2020.
